Alright so worst sprain of my life happened last week!!

Right!!

So my super-sweet boyfriend came to see me and make me feel all better. We ended up going to Sioux Falls.

No, Michael Phelps did not go with us.

Volleyball season is over...intramural that is. And, marching band has been fantastic. Andrea and I are going to work on Saturday morning selling tickets for a marching band competition. Then we have to march. This day is unfortunate because I don't get to see Andrew all weekend. :(

I really, really need to wash clothes.

Yikes.

Where IS mom when I need her? Haha. Just kidding. She's fantastic.

Even if she sent me a picture of that nasty cat, I love her.

Weekend

Wow. So my first big test was this week. It was of course, that cursed Chemistry. And no, I didn't do very well on it. I don't remember ever having an average in a class that wasn't an A or at least a B+. So with a 70.98% in that class right now, no, I am not a happy camper. But I am also trying incredibly hard so hopefully it pulls through for me. I guess is it something I will have to get used to.

This weekend Andrew stole me away so that we could go to Stuart. Mark (Andrew's dad) is such a sweetheart, I believe he is making Chinese food. DELICIOUS! Way better than anything the college has, not to mention all my microwaveable Chinese food! Which actually isn't too bad.

English is sort of getting better, we actully had a good time in class the other day.

And I'm working on my Christmas list, which I admit is starting to really suck, because Christmas is so much more fun when you ask for stuff you want, not need.
So right now I'm asking for:
Clothes (Sweatshirts, sweatpants, zip up sweatshirts, etc.)
GPS
Nice bras....yeah.
Permanent removal of the evil cat. (Ha!)

There is more but I can't remember right now.

Dangit.

This is our AMAZING volleyball team. Amazing-Definition: Somehow manages to pull a win out of their butts even though they may possibly be one of the worst teams in volleyball history. Yeah... it was ugly. Oh well.

Alright, so the people in the photo, left to right, back row first. Don=Seth's roommate. Seth=one of my best friends at USD/person who keeps me sane in marching band. Jamie=Sister of my friend Lee. Nic=Friend who graduated with me. Front row: Katie=Don's girlfiend. Me=Awesome. Andrea=Another one of my best friends up here. She also kept me sane in marching band.

So far, classes have been great. Except for Chemistry but I knew it would be tough. Mom got me some "Chemistry for dummies" books basically. Hopefully they help. Film Appreciation is a lot of fun, and very interesting. My teacher has done some work in movies. English Comp. drives me crazy. Algebra is a breeze. My First Year Experience class is up and down with me, although I really enjoy the teacher. The class did make me realize today though, that my biggest goal in my life is to marry someone who will always make me happy. Which I guess I've always kind of known, but it was good to really clear it up. Along with stinking Chemistry i have a stinking Chemistry lab-GAG ME. Umm...last is Sociology. I LOVE it. The other day our professor explained why Vermillion tolerates drinking. (All the jobs it creates, the taxes, etc.) Pretty amazing things you never think of and conclusions you may have never reached. We definitely go over some serious topics. Abortion is coming up soon. That should be a good one.

So classes are going well. I've been back for a football game and a volleyball game. I think the girls are going to get better and better this year. The football team looked really good. It was sort of sad to be back; I miss playing volleyball and dancing so much. :( But there are worse things in the world and college has been a lot of fun so far!

Andrew and I hit a rough spot the past few weeks, but I have to say I am entirely too happy we worked stuff out. I really hope we can make things work out. I think we'd be good together.

My roommate is a lot of fun. We have a different set of friends and she is rushing for the sororities around here currentl, but we usually get a few quick chats in here and there. She's the kind of person that I can talk to when I am very confused about stuff and she has some good advice.

So far college has been a great experience and I hope it stays that way!

I miss home...but not the cat.

First Blog!

Alright, somewhere out in the wild internet world I have another blog... but since I neglected it for a few months it moved on and in the process, made me forget my password. Which is alright. I'm starting anew.

My blog comes from Priscilla, (my new laptop) and yes I did name it. I just thought that it is practically my baby and deserves a name... so Priscilla it is.

My laptop is pretty stellar, I must say. It has a fingerprint scanner so nobody can get in but me if I choose to lock it, and such other...probably unnecessary things but things I enjoy just the same. :D

We bought my college food the other day and I am now ladden with tons of ramen noodles, chips, microwave dinners, soups, etc.

Registration is tomorrow and I'm sort of excited, but at the same time not. If I got it just makes it all real. SCARY! But I must be off... I plan on reboxing the food so we have a little more room. :D

I'll need all I can get for my clothes. :D
